2023 Audi e-tron® GT

Overview

The 2023 Audi e-tron® GT isn’t your ordinary vehicle. And that’s a good thing, considering it’s the flagship of the German marque’s all-electric sub-brand. With its ferociously swoopy and hunkered-down styling, powerful electric motors, and an assortment of impressive tech goodies, the e-tron GT makes a compelling choice for any electric car fan in search of sporty luxury. There’s no messing with success, as far as Audi’s concerned, so this year’s changes are mostly visual and convenience-based. For starters, there’s now a second charging port on the passenger side of the e-tron GT and the Bang & Olufsen sound system now comes standard on every trim.

The Perfect Ride For…

The 2023 Audi e-tron GT appeals to those who are drivers at heart but also can’t get enough of bleeding-edge tech. Peak into the upscale cabin and you’ll find an array of tech-savvy features, including an expansive 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster complete with exclusive design elements. There’s also the 10.1-inch touchscreen display at the center console. An available LED interior lighting package helps brighten things up in your choice of hue. As expected, the e-tron GT also comes with a host of driver-assistive features. Audi pre sense front and rear provide greater awareness of potential obstacles in the vehicle’s path. Regarding tight parking spaces, the available remote park assist plus feature takes care of that with automated parking.

Drive and Handling

A pair of electric motors give the 2023 Audi e-tron GT the motivation to get up and going. The total output is 469 horsepower under normal driving conditions. However, activating Boost mode dials up the fun to a max of 522 horsepower. With both Boost and launch control activated, you can silently glide to 60 mph in 3.9 seconds. The e-tron GT lacks the one-pedal driving capability that most EVs of its type boast, which means it drives more like your standard non-electric sedan. There is, however, a 2-speed transmission with a first gear tasked with hard launches and a second gear for maximum cruising efficiency.

A 93-kilowatt-hour battery gives you up to 236 miles of EPA-estimated driving range. You won’t have to wait long to charge up after a long drive, either. Charging from 5 percent to 80 percent at a max 270 kilowatts only takes 22.5 minutes when using a DC fast charger. There’s even an onboard route planner that highlights available charging stations along the way, ensuring you’re never too far away from a quick charge. Sport adaptive air suspension on all four wheels ensures you’ll enjoy a comfortable ride while also enjoy sharp handling when the road turns twisty. Available all-wheel steering also makes the e-tron GT more maneuverable under low-speed situations.

Key Features

Headlights

Every facet of the 2023 Audi e-tron GT speaks to a relentless drive toward innovation. Take the headlights, for instance. These units feature Audi’s Matrix-design LED technology, which not only gives them a distinctive appearance, but also the ability to dynamically adjust to various road and weather conditions for optimal visibility. Optional Audi laser lights further enhance visibility while adding an attractive X-framed trim to its appearance.

Torque Vectoring

Another trick up the e-tron GT’s proverbial sleeve is e-torque vectoring plus. This available feature lets the vehicle deliver power to each axle individually, giving it more precise traction when road and weather conditions call for it.

Alternative Options

Drivers who want electrified practicality might find more function behind the wheel of the classic Audi e-tron®. As the first in Audi's electric lineup, this SUV offers outstanding value and capability. For drivers who aren't ready to let go of that fuel-powered performance, consider the Audi TT. Not sure?
