Drive and Handling
The 2023 Audi Q4 e-tron offers 295 hp with Boost engaged and 201 hp without Boost. The engine is a rear permanently excited synchronous motor, and the vehicle's top speed is 99 mph. The total battery size is 82 kWh, and 76.6 kWh is usable for charging. The Lithium-ion battery is 408V and has maximum 240V charging power of 11.5 kW. The max charging speed for DC fast chargers is 150 kW, which means the Q4 e-tron charges from 5 to 80 percent in just 36 minutes.
The transmission is a single-speed automatic, and the drivetrain is rear-wheel drive. The e-tron is also available with Quattro all-wheel drive, which delivers improved handling in difficult driving conditions. Drivers can expect 265 miles of range from their 2023 Audi Q4 e-tron. The available shift paddles on the steering wheel allow drivers to choose one of three levels for regenerative braking, which charges the battery whenever the driver presses the brake pedal.

Fast chargers are convenient for long road trips and are located in key positions across the country, from metropolitan areas to small communities near major interstates.
The Audi Q4 e-tron is the first vehicle from the company that features augmented reality head-up display as an option. The display provides real-time information in the driver's line-of-sight, including current speed and the speed limit on the current road. The Audi Q4 e-tron will also warn the driver of potential accidents with sensors at the front of the vehicle, and the car will even brake automatically if it senses no response from the driver.
The e-tron also enhances safety while the car is in motion with features like adaptive cruise with lane guidance, which helps the driver maintain a safe distance behind vehicles in front of the e-tron and also helps keep the vehicle centered in the lane. The e-tron is also equipped with side-assist sensors that alert the driver of vehicles in the blind spot, as well as oncoming vehicles that may cause a collision.
Inside the Audi e-tron, drivers will enjoy the excellent sound of an available Sonos sound system with speakers placed around the entire vehicle to create an immersive sound experience. Drivers can also connect their e-tron with their preferred smartphone to access Audi connect, which provides helpful assistance in mapping out road trips and designing an optimal charging plan.
