Who's It For?
With an MSRP just north of $38,000, the A3 is a good choice for anyone seeking an entry-level luxury sedan. The 2.0L turbocharged engine can take the small four-door to 60 miles per hour in six seconds, appealing to those who want some driving fun and speed without a fuel-draining powertrain. Great for those who work in the city, first-time drivers, or young professionals who want an upscale vehicle, the Audi A3 is the perfect choice for luxury, efficiency, and safety.
What's New for 2025?
For 2025, all-wheel drive is standard across the A3 lineup, doing away with the front wheel drive option of previous years. The four-wheel drivetrain brings slightly more torque and 0.3-second faster 0-60 times compared to the 2024 A3. Audi’s signature LED exterior lighting has been updated with sharper headlights and taillights. The interior also sees a few upgrades, with 30-color ambient lighting, a larger 10.25-inch digital cluster display, and a new Sonos sound system.
Real-World Performance
The 2025 Audi A3's 2.0-liter turbocharged engine was updated and now produces an additional 15 pound-feet of torque for more exciting acceleration. With 201 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, it offers respectable performance for a compact car. The well-tuned four-link independent rear suspension and front McPherson struts help with both ride quality and road grip. With a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission with manual mode, the A3 offers a fun-to-drive appeal not often found in lower-priced compact sedans.
The small form factor and engine combine to give you excellent fuel economy without taking away the fun. You'll get up to 34 mpg on the highway and 28 in the city. Audi Drive Select offers you the ability to choose how the A3 steering, transmission, and throttle response react to your inputs. The four modes offer a customized feeling with Comfort, Auto, Dynamic, and Individual modes.
