The Road Ahead: What to Expect from Audi in 2019

As a leader in innovation, technology, and performance, we expect big things from Audi in 2019. From impressive innovations in fuel efficiency and engine dynamics to wider technology offerings and even movie appearances, Audi is already poised to outdo itself this year. Here are a few of the biggest changes and events coming to the automaker that has already released two brand new models for 2019.

Lineup Changes

For the A3 model line, more standard features and driver assistance technology bring even greater value to the sedans. Full LED headlights and tail lights, Audi phone box, and park assist are now standard features on some trims. New interior and exterior options are available on the S3 to give it an even more menacing look.

S line bumpers, updated exhaust, rear USB ports, Audi phone box, and MMI Navigation are now more widely available on the A4 line for 2019. Thanks to updated Sport and Convenience packages, one of Audi’s most popular sedans is more customizable than ever before. What's more, the S4 is now available in the automaker’s Premium trim level, giving you performance and luxury like never before.

The 2019 Audi Q5 celebrates its success as Audi’s best-selling model with new standard features like heated front seats, Audi Connect® CARE, and 7-inch infotainment display. Higher trim levels gain features like rear USB ports and Audi phone box. The SQ5 is now available in a Premium trim. Standard features like run-flat tires, MMI Navigation plus, Audi virtual cockpit, top view camera, LED headlights and tail lights, Audi phone box, Audi side assist, and Audi pre sense rear are all available depending on which trims and packages you choose for the 2019 Q7.

New Models

2019 Audi Q8 SUV

Audi welcomes the all-new 2019 Q8 to the family with its 3.0-liter TFSI® V6, churning out 335 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission and Audi quattro™ all-wheel-drive work together to get that power to the wheels. Audi Drive Select and an available Adaptive Chassis package make the Q8 handle like a sports car with all of the space and convenience of an SUV.

2019 Audi e-tron SUV

For Audi’s first all-electric SUV, the automaker has pulled out all the stops. The athletic stance and sleek design of this modern people-mover wrap around an all-wheel-drive, instant-torque powerhouse. It rockets from 0-60 mph in just 5.5 seconds and features air suspension, which gives you a performance experience without a drop of fuel.

Audi in the Movies

The automaker will be making a couple of appearances on the big screen this year. If you’re a fan of Marvel films, keep an eye out for the e-tron GT concept in the new Avengers: Endgame, slated to hit US theaters in April. Another e-tron concept, the RSQ, will make its appearance in an animated movie, Spies in Disguise, from Twentieth Century Fox later in the year. This virtual concept car will be an all-electric masterpiece with autonomous driving and transformational technology.

…And This is Just the Beginning

Audi is kicking off the new year with a bang, and this is just the beginning. With intentions to expand fuel-efficiency, hybrid technology, and more, we couldn’t be part of the Audi family during a more exciting time in the brand’s history.
